Gameplay sound - Bestie

Initially, I intended to use sound solely to provide players with feedback when they performed an action correctly or incorrectly.

Later, Josh pointed out that overusing positive feedback could diminish its impact. To address this, I added a simple "boop" sound for basic actions and a more pronounced "stomp" sound for station changes.

The initial stomp sound was difficult to hear even at maximum volume, so I decided to replace it.

In the end I decide that my game needed some bacckground music and JIn the end, I decided my game needed background music, and Josh suggested the Brazilian jazz genre called bossa nova. I wanted distinct background tracks for the shop's lobby and workshop to subconsciously signal to players that they had entered a different room.

Since both I and other players found the workshop track repetitive, I decided to use a single song for each level instead

Through playtesting, I eventually found the perfect volume for the background music, making it enjoyable without being intrusive or overpowering the other sound effects.

THIS is the final game demo version.
